crickets much bigger then normal supplier and more livelier

My last order of 4th instar brown crickets contained a lot of noisy adults. These do not live up to their billing of being virtually silent. Why is it only me that find crickets chirping soothing, they are driving my family and the dog nuts. I deliberatately do not buy adults to avoid the chirping. Otherwise for gecko food they are fine.

Price is competitive with pet stores as you get more than you would in-store. The problem I had was many of the crickets with edging towards large in size with several adults. Because of this I lost almost 1/2 of the order as they were to big for my dragons. If my next order isn't as bad I will be coming back, if it is I'll have to wait till my dragons mature.

Delivery took a day longer than I was expecting, which I appreciate may be the fault of Royal Mail, but it meant by baby lizard didn't get his crickets for a day. Also, packaging was awful - the outer box was thoroughly battered and the plastic tub inside had leaked, fortunately not allowing any crickets to escape though. In my tub I found a very large locust in addition to the crickets, which I did not want or need, as it is way to big for my small lizard. The other crickets were also very large for 4th brown crickets, in comparison to the ones I have normally bought from both specialist reptile and general pet shops, so I presume that this is a fault of yours. This meant that just over half of what was in my tub was totally unsuitable for my bearded dragon to eat - what a waste of my money, especially seeing as I'm a student. However, I felt that the price of the livefoods variable and postage cost was reasonable, providing it is what was described. I won't be using your service again, unless I am desperate. I have only rated you as sufficient because at least there were a few crickets there for my pet to eat.
