No flies but plenty of lavae. 50% of contents were squashed and had leaked. Sales team will tell you that this is an acceptable way to be delivered to you, even if royal mail have to repackage before delivering

All other items I buy from here are excellent, however, the drosophilia repeatedly arrive crawling with mites, meaning no flies hatch.

Alot of escaping larvae and mites in the cultures ------------------------------------------------------ Reply By Sales Team: Unfortunately due to the nature of these the larvae are very good at escaping which is why we advise to transfer to more suitable containers upon arrival. All Fruit Fly cultures are prone to attract mites which are present everywhere and thrive in the conditions provided by the cultures however as the cultures become more active the actions of the larvae will destroy the mites. Because these are cultures they do take a little work and experience by the customer to successfully produce large numbers of flies

ok, i know there is red writing to cover themselves from the digusting way you receive the package. The parcel is actually falling apart to the point where Royal mail had to send it in pieces in a bag. I deserve to have this sent to me in better condition. The pots they use are unsuitable for sending out in the post and I suggest that they change their containers. If want fly cultures to reach you in better condtion buy from ADVANCED HUSBANDRY. Their pots are actually suited to sending out in the post. I am very disappointed in the service that I have received and even the after sales was disappointing.
