Used with mealworms to avoid drowning and loss. Very happy with this product.

This product works well at preventing the feeder insects from drowning, however it is very easily fouled. If the crickets frequently deposit their waste in the water source the smell is unbearable - even when only using a few granules. With this in mind the water source will have to be changed several times a week and for the money this item costs it would not be viable.

If the room temperature gets too hot the crystals dissolve and the crickets drown in the water.
